AMERICANS! Travel to Cuba in 2023/24 is 100% legal.

Welcome to our corner of Cuba!

We’re not your average tour operator. We’re a family native to Viñales and offer genuine authentic experiences – really.

With years of combined experience working in tourism in Cuba, as well as combined degrees in foreign languages, agronomy, farming and – of course – expertise in tobacco and ‘how-to-be-a-cowboy’, the Miranda family finally decided to pull together and offer you something unique, memorable, educational and FUN!

How it all began

In 2017, throwing caution to the wind after 10 years living, studying, and working in London, Cassie packed it all in to set off for some adventures. She didn’t get much further than Cuba, and has been there ever since. Choosing a quiet life in the countryside of Cuba, away from other expats in Havana, she has been able to fully embrace and experience life living on this barmy & complex island. Learning how to navigate the local culture, with all of it’s highs and lows, hasn’t been a walk in the park – but, with hard work, patience and perseverance, she is now perfectly placed to pass on her knowledge and expertise of the island.

After the devastation of the pandemic, we are excited to be welcoming back visitors to our corner of Cuba – and we can’t wait.

2023 UPDATE:

We have had some life changes! Cassie & Ronnie have relocated to England for some new adventures, leaving Vinales and the family excursions in the extremely capable hands of Changa, Pancho, and the rest of the ‘guajiros’.

Together the family continue to run their business, inviting visitors in to their corner of Cuba. Your visits to their tobacco farm fully maintain their livelihoods, and in return, they give you the best day of your Cuba trip.

The farm

This is our family’s tobacco farm. This is where the magic happens. Not only do we invite visitors in from far and wide to learn about the world-class cigar making process, but we’ll enjoy a swig or two or homemade rum as well.

Lunch is cooked here using traditional methods as electricity is no where to be seen. After the seasonal farm-to-table food has been devoured, wash it down with a fresh cafecito and take in the views with the cowboys.

We spend many of our days here. It’s a base for the farmers working in the fields. It’s a haven for intrigued visitors to get a glimpse into the rawness of Cuba. It’s a breath of fresh air after hectic Havana.

Our mission

Cuba is so famously known for the classic cars, the rum, the cigars and Fidel Castro. Whilst these are of course a backbone to the island, there is so much more that needs to be explored.

Our mission is to invite you in to corners of Cuba that you wouldn’t find alone. We want to show you something different than the fallen streets in Havana. We want to share unique corner of our island to make sure that you leave with a true sense of Cuba and it’s people.

All of our excursions and tours are centered around this mission. You’ll be staying in private homes, eating with Cuban families, cooking in rural homes with no electricity, and exploring the tobacco farms alongside the farmers themselves.
